Kindle app for android lost downloaded books

The message arose on my Tablet I do not know how or why. Please assist me in getting back to using my Tablet.

Hi, Maybe you can try to uninstall Kindle app on your tablet, then reinstall it to solve the problem. I just switched from an iPad to an eclippse I have a kindle app on my p tablet.

Books I've bought are there. I can open them up and read for about 2 pages and then it goes to a black screen and back to kindle listing of books.

When I open it again, it starts at beginning. Says something about syncing at bottom. Can you help me? Thank you. I can use kindle app on phone but books do not appear on my kindle device. Any ideas why please? How can I get back to beginning of book other than hitting the left margin a hundred times. Very frustrating!!! Very clear, easy to follow directions. Very frustrated. Close the Kindle app, and reset the iPad. Maybe refreshing the app will let the books download again. In order to close apps, you have to drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen.

You might have to register your iPad again. Or deregister and register it again. It will be quicker to phone Amazon or get them to phone you back as replying to emails can take ages, there will be a 'contact us' button somewhere on your account or under the help section. I have a massive set of collections on the kindle app for android. Like 50 collections holding or more ebooks. But when I install the Kindle for PC app for my Windows desktop, it does not let me import the organized collections from the Kindle app for android.

These older devices used a type of collections which is different from the current one. You would assume that collections propagate to all Kindle platforms, but what I'm seeing now is that any collections you create on Kindle for PC will not be propagated onto your other reading systems. As you see, you can still access your ebooks, but you can't use the collections from your other devices. You're not doing it wrong; the Windows program is just using an incompatible kind of collection system.

On the plus side, any collections you make on Kindle for PC are just for that computer -- and nothing else. Just to be safe, I would create only a small number of collections on Kindle for PC. I have verified that annotations on the Kindle for PC propagate albeit slowly to other devices.
